A TikTok video demonstrating “creative” phone hacks has gone viral for a mix of helpful decorating tips and absolutely bizarre concepts like the foam-insulated handle and doll pop sockets.
ICT Tac videos have been used to demonstrate a variety of hacks, tips, tricks, and shortcuts over the past few years. From hairstyles to makeup tutorials, TikTok users are never short of creative “solutions” to problems.
Some of the most useful TikTok tutorials present creative solutions to decorate different objects inexpensively. Some users are looking to spruce up an old piece of furniture, while others are looking for an inventive fashion solution.
However, in a recent video, cellphone decorating and accessory hacks are taken to a new level, and many of the options featured in the clip leave viewers confused and slightly confused.
Pop-socket made of baby doll parts scares TikTok viewers
In a Twitter post shared by MattGFXuser calls a TikTok video posted by 69creative69. The comment above the video reads: “This video is unbalanced from the start but nothing could have prepared me for the last one”.
The video shows a series of phone “hacks” that viewers can try at home. Some are quite interesting and seemingly clever, like sticking rivets on a phone case to easily change decorations or coloring a case with nail paint and a hair dryer. However, the video also highlights absolutely absurd phone “solutions” like an “assembly foam glove”, an edible melting phone cover, and a phone holder for children’s shoes.
However, the truly alarming and generally upsetting finale to the viral TikTok video is a pop-socket alternative. The video shows someone dismembering a small doll and then gluing its body parts onto a phone case. The video ends with the doll acting as a phone prop as she stares lifelessly at the table surface.
Viewers responded to the TikTok video on the Twitter post, most deeply troubled by the series of creative “tricks”. Nahoshura replies “You expect him to have reached his peak of weirdness, but no. it just continues” while Shock_and_Roll adds “Serial killer behavior…”.
DigitalByte357 captures the reactions of many, commenting “The baby’s face at the end is pretty much our reaction. XD” followed by a screenshot of the baby’s lifeless face.
While the TikToker 69creative69 seems to have a channel dedicated to interesting hacks and creative problem-solving, it’s pretty clear that few people will be trying out the mangled baby phone holder anytime in the near future.
