LAHORE – Emerging tech brand TECNO showcased some of its latest technologies and achievements during the “Global Mobile Camera Trends 2022: Innovation Talk” webinar. Among many, the most striking development has been the use of Sensor-Shift, which will improve the stability of photos and video imagery.
As short videos and live streaming become popular on social media, especially among young people, more stable cameras will allow users to produce studio-quality videos. So it will bring more fun with social media sharing for users.
In addition, with the growing demand for imaging stability, TECNO plans to integrate Sensor-Shift technology into its new products for the year 2022. This will make TECNO the first mobile phone brand in the Android system to do so. .
So what is Sensor-Shift? Sensor-Shift stabilizes images by using sensor movements to compensate for vibration rather than using lens movement like in existing cameras. TECNO broke a technical barrier via an innovative circular plane design for FPC, realizing the sensor movement on the roll axis, a step forward compared to the movement on the X and Y axes. During the simulation, it has demonstrated a 30% greater increase in stress performance compared to the traditional vertical design. In addition, TECNO’s R&D team achieved a further 60% improvement in anti-shake effect by optimizing the test environment and software.
Compared to conventional Optical Imaging Stabilization (OIS), TECNO’s sensor offset technology can achieve a response rate of 5,000 adjustments per second. In addition, further algorithm optimization will be used to improve the technology’s control accuracy to 350% of the current level, so that users do not have to worry about shaky or blurry images.
TECNO is committed to continuous innovation, developing professional cameras for photography and videography, and empowering consumers to express their lifestyle through the power of the future lens.
