You can also send messages and attachments secretly through iPhone, Android, iPad, or computer. You can also use confidential mode to set an expiration date for messages or revoke access at any time. In particular, the recipients of the confidential message will have their transfer, copy, print and download options disabled to ensure that a complete secret is maintained.

It can be noted that while confidential mode helps prevent recipients from accidentally sharing your email, it does not prevent recipients from taking screenshots or photos of your messages or attachments. How to send, open secret emails and attachments via computer

If you’re using Gmail with a work or school account, you’ll need to contact your administrator to make sure you can use private mode.

1. On your computer, go to Gmail and click on Compose.

2. At the bottom right of the window, click Activate confidential mode.

3. Set an expiration date and password. These settings affect both message text and attachments. If you choose “No SMS code”, recipients using the Gmail application will be able to open it directly. Recipients who do not use Gmail will receive an access code by email.

If you choose “SMS access code”, the recipients will receive an access code by SMS. Make sure to enter the recipient’s phone number, not yours.

4. Click on Save.

How to send, open secret email on iPhone, Android phone, tablet, iPad:

1. Open the Gmail app.

2. Tap Dial.

3. At the top right, tap More More then Privacy mode.

4. Activate confidential mode.

5. Set an expiration date, passcode, and other controls. These settings affect both message text and attachments. If you choose “No SMS code”, recipients using the Gmail application will be able to open it directly. Recipients who do not use Gmail will receive an access code by email. If you choose “SMS access code”, the recipients will receive an access code by SMS. Make sure to enter the recipient’s phone number, not yours.

6. Tap Done.

How to remove access earlier

You can also prevent your recipient from viewing the email before the expiration date. Know how:

1. On your computer, Android phone, tablet, iPhone or iPad, you need to open Gmail.

2. On the left, click Sent to Computer. On an Android phone, tablet, iPhone, or iPad, you need to tap Menu and then Sent.

3. Open the confidential email.

4. Click Remove Access.
