How to turn off a Samsung Galaxy phone
You can turn off a Samsung Galaxy S22, S21, and earlier models using your phone’s hardware buttons or on-screen buttons.
Using hardware buttons
Begin the process by pressing and holding the power button on your phone.
You will then see a Power menu on your screen. Here, tap on “Power off”.
Your phone will start to shut down.

Using on-screen buttons
If your phone’s hardware buttons aren’t working, use an on-screen option to turn off your phone.
First, pull down twice from the top of your phone screen. In the menu that opens, tap the Power icon.
From the Power menu, choose “Power off”.
And that’s all. Your phone will turn off.

How to turn off a Google Pixel phone
Turning off Google’s Pixel phones is again as easy as pressing hardware buttons or tapping an on-screen option.
Using hardware buttons
To turn off your Pixel 6 or later, press and hold Power + Volume Up. On Pixel 5a and earlier, press and hold the power button for a few seconds.
When the Power menu opens, choose “Power off”.
And your phone will start turning off.
Using on-screen buttons
To use the on-screen method, pull down twice from the top of your Pixel phone screen. Next, tap the Power icon at the bottom of the Quick Settings tiles.
From the Power menu, choose “Power off”.
