The My Phone companion app allows users to link their smartphone and Windows PC. So, if you have important data that you want to share between your devices, you can easily do that. This tutorial will show you how to send links to a Windows 11 PC using an Android phone. The process is not very complicated and anyone can do it.
Send Links to Windows 11 PC Using Android Phone
The first thing you need to do is set up the Phone app on your computer and your Android phone.
- Click on the search icon in the taskbar and type Your phone. Click on Open.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
Important Note: For this to work, make sure your phone and PC have the same internet connection.
Once the system and phone are configured, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Open the website for which you want to share the link in the browser of your choice. (I use Chrome)
2nd step: Depending on your browser version, the position of the Share option may vary. Some browsers will have the share option available in the menu when you click on the three points in the upper right corner of the browser. Others will have the share option in the address bar like in the image below:
Step 3: Click the Share icon or share option and select where you want to share it. In my case, I chose Send to your devices.
Step 4: Select the device from the device list.
Step-5: Now check your phone. You will receive the link there.
Once you’re done, you can disconnect the Phone app from your PC and phone if you wish. Hope this helped. Let us know in the comments below.
